<p>I had another boot camp session yesterday and oh my I am feeling the pain today.  Honestly, I had to force myself to go but I am so glad I did.  It was a great session.  We ran, did lunges, squats, &#8220;push-ups&#8221;, tricep dips, lots of ab work, etc, etc. etc.  I feel my running form is getting better and I am less winded as well.</p>
<p>Thank goodness I am only do this once a week &#8211; I think it might take me that long to recover <img src='http://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />   j/k!  I do plan to run and do weights during the week.</p>
<p>Still really enjoying Arctic Zero as well as Greek Yogurt and &#8230; Popchips.  If you haven&#8217;t tried any of these products, I highly recommend them.  Great treats without the guilt.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I had another boot camp session today and figured I&#8217;d post while I am still pain-free.  I had a stressful morning so I was looking forward to this workout as I figured I wouldn&#8217;t be able to think during it.  So true <img src='http://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>We ran in the rain around the track.  We lunged around the track. Used weights and stepped up on the benches for added fun <img src='http://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />   It was really cool running in the rain until it started to pour so we moved indoors to the karate building and did some kick boxing and ab work.  Ohh, I can&#8217;t wait until tomorrow!</p>
<p>I am really enjoying the running.  I know it will take a while to be able to run any distance but it feels great to do something totally outside of the box for me.</p>

<p>Thank goodness there were no cameras yesterday.  Brian and I raced &#8211; he on a one foot hop and me running.  Well, you know the outcome &#8211; hahaha <img src='http://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>I did a jog/walk today with Winny and my Mom.  Mom, being 82, walks and Winny and I did a jog/walk.  Gorgeous day to be outside.</p>
<p>Will report back after the next boot camp adventure.</p>

I am back though and thought I&#8217;d post.  I think I got really bored with my routine which led to being a sedentary slug!  I am paying for it now.  </p>
<p>I started working out with a trainer in a boot camp type style.  I am doing things I never have done before and I am feeling it <img src='http://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />   Jogging, jumping, planks, etc are now part of the regime.  All I gotta say is &#8230;Oh the pain <img src='http://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />   Seriously though I like it.  I enjoy being outside and doing things I haven&#8217;t ever done.  Hard to believe I never really jogged, but I really have never jogged a track&#8230; walked &#8211; yes&#8230; but jogged &#8211; no.  It is so different.  After 1/4 mile I am winded.  Looking forward to building that up!  My trainer teaches a boot camp Monday &#8211; Friday at 5:30 am&#8230; not so sure that is in my future, but definitely will continue to work with her.</p>
<p>I met with Shae on Tuesday at 8:15 am.  We jogged, stepped up on benches, did bicep curls, bench press, squats, ab work, etc. etc.  I was unbelievably sore yesterday.  Today is better.  It is kinda funny.  This was the second time I met with her.  The first time we did a variety of things and I was sore the next day but not bad at all.  Yesterday, however, was quite different.  I felt like I was run over by a mack truck <img src='http://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />   Today is better!</p>
<p>Anyway, this will be a diary of sorts to monitor my progress.  I will eventually weigh in&#8230; not sure that will be pretty, but necessary to see how much damage I have done.  I am still amazed it has been 5 months since I posted anything&#8230; Yikes!</p>
<p>Foods of the week &#8211; Greek yogurt, Arctic Zero and bananas.  Of course I eat other things but I have been really enjoying those!<br />

<p>I had to switch the bedtime until midnight cause 11 pm just wasn&#8217;t happening.  I wasn&#8217;t sore at all after all the heavy lifting on Wednesday &#8211; Yay!  Even though I kept my calories in check, I went a bit over in my refined carbs&#8230; (holiday gift arrived)&#8230;</strong></p>

<p>Crazy day today. I got a lot of exercise lifting boxes.  I figure I lifted a total of over 1080 lbs!!  up and down steps.  It actually felt great!  </strong></p>
